Stark Contrast

♦This weekend I’ve been at the outstanding Eroticon 2014. Absolutely outstanding, in fact. There will be plenty more blog posts on the subject as I start processing the weekend and regaining energy. For now, it’s Sinful Sunday and I’m dying to put some of the things I learnt and the inspiration I got in Molly’s Saturday session on photography into practice.

Plus, I always like to take a dirty picture or two on the Eroticon weekend anyway, just because.

image

Be brave, try things out. That was key thing I picked up not just from that session, but from the whole weekend. Sometimes I’m reluctant to take dirty pictures because I’m not naturally photogenic and I don’t think I’ll look all that good. But the whole thing inspired me to be bold and be true. Be honest.

So I gave it a go and, especially given this was the only shot of me I hastily took this morning, I’m proud of myself! I managed to pick my spot and get a mixture of stark contrast (see what I did there?) and diffuse hints of light elsewhere.

And I love how you can see just a glimpse of my Iron Man (there’s a hint) manpants and naked body in clarity. Geeky enough for you?

Now all I have to do is apply the tips from Eroticon and the confidence from this shot to my proper camera and see what I can do! ♦

Very Short Stories – Prometheus

♦ You may remember I posted something recently about Very Short Stories, the idea of writing flash fiction that fits on one side of an ordinary Post-It note. I shared my first attempt, too, a bit of a silly-but-sexy piece inspired by coffee (but not written whilst drinking it).

Heck, it’s even caught on a little bit, with bloggers keen to try their own versions and with some, like my friend Innocent Loverboy, having finished their Very Short Stories already. If anyone else has done one, just let me know! I’d love to read it and to let people know about it here.

In any case, I thought it was high time I did another. Again, I’m showing you both the actual Post-It and then giving a transcription for accessibility purposes…

image

“You stumbled into my Friday night a repentant Prometheus, bringing fire back to my belly. You left the bar with my number and a taxi fare. By Monday you could mould me like clay, breathing life into my cock at a whisper from your lips. Thursday evening saw the perfect retribution, as I chained you spread-eagled to my bed. Your liver untouched, I gorged myself on your cunt.”

Again, not a perfect tale, but again un-edited (except a word or two as I was still writing) and teeny-tiny. This one is a mere 55 words compared to the previous 62. My prompt, if you hadn’t already guessed, was the name Prometheus. Although I was inspired by finding the name out of context, I love the myth and soon ideas and analogies came racing to mind.

I’m quite pleased, though I wonder if I might be trying to do too much in too small a space (that may sort of be the concept, I suppose) and it’s certainly good to try some straight-up erotica rather than last time’s playful pretend porn.

What do you think of it? ♦

Very Short Stories

♦ I popped into WH Smith’s recently to pick up a much needed new pencil case (my old one smells awfully of old curry, don’t ask) and some other stationery things. After all, with Eroticon 2014 coming up, I need to be kitted out to write, write, write (and not smell like old curry).

While there, I found a notebook that’s perfect for taking with me, as well as this interesting little thing…

Very Short Stories - Cover

It’s not, as it first appears, a notebook. It’s a tiny, adorable little pad of post-it notes. I just don’t need post-it notes in any way, but the cover of the pad caught my attention. “Very short stories,” it says. Sure, it goes on to say “about milk, cheese and bread”, but the idea of very short stories wouldn’t let go.

I didn’t need to actually write my shopping list, after all. And the pad was small enough to keep inside my new pencil case, meaning I could write any time. And the longer I stood there, the more I saw the little pad of “very short stories” as a challenge.

Dammit, I could write very short stories in it! I could! And they’d be sexy and tiny and I could make it work. And even if I couldn’t, the exercise was bound to be interesting, worth blogging and undoubtedly very useful for honing my skills at writing bigger, longer stories.

So I bought it. Today, a few days later, I decided to give it a go. I logged on to Twitter, determined to take the first word of inspiration that hit me. What follows is the result (in picture form for authenticity, then transcribed for accessibility). It took me about three minutes, from that first word I used as my muse to drawing the little diamond signature in the bottom.

Very Short Stories - The Coffee Story

“Alone together at last. The long day had led to aching anticipation for this moment. I licked my lips, savouring the view. Strong, dark, patiently waiting for me and covered in cream… I had fantasised about you, but now I worried you were too hot to handle. Taking the plunge, I took you in my hand… And drank you. Thank Christ for coffee.”

And there you have it. Perfect? No. Fantastic? No. But at a mere 62 words and in a mere 3 minutes or less on a theme chosen at random from a word found on Twitter and essentially unedited, I’m quite pleased with it. I’m certainly going to write more of these. It was a nice challenge to keep it ambiguous until the last (calling coffee “he” or “she” seemed disingenuous) and I like the playful idea.

Maybe the Very Short Story (flash fiction on teeny-tiny post-its) will catch on and bloggers and writers everywhere will join in! What do you think, could you write a story on a post-it note? And what are your thoughts on mine? ♦

Valentine’s Day Sex Toy Selections

♦ It’s February and in the world of doin’ it and talkin’ about it, that can mean only one thing. Yes, Valentine’s Day, which sex-based businesses make the mistake of referring to as “VD” but once in their business lives. No, really, I’ve seen it done.

Valentine’s, of course, means a big ole marketing push. “How we can we get people to buy more things to put in their orifices?” “How do you make a hashtag romantic?” “Do lovebirds and analbeads mesh in any way?”

The way most e-retailers promote to us is by having a dedicated Valentine’s Day toy selection, but I’ve noticed a trend among sex toy shops online. That’s right, don’t fret! If you’re confused about how to market Valentine’s Day toys to your customers and which ones to recommend for that special day, it turns out  it’s deceptively simple!

After looking at how the professionals do it, I’ve made this handy-dandy flowchart:

How to recommend a sex toy for Valentine's Day

Sinful Santa

♦ Merry Christmas and a very happy New year to you, reader! I hope you don’t mind the slightly delayed greeting, but it’s been a busy holiday period of mince pies, stolen kisses, cheer and far too much Magic the Gathering. I’ve been relaxing, spending time with loved ones and generally making merry, so I haven’t had chance to post anything festive until now.

I hope, then, that you won’t be so bored of the whole affair that you’ll begrudge me showing you my Christmas Day outfit. I’m fairly sure that you’ll enjoy it!

Sinful Santa Close-Up

Ah, but you’ve undoubtedly seen my cleavage in pictures on here before. It’s certainly one of my favourite camera angles. It’s Christmassy, sure, but it’s not anything new. Well then, how about something a bit more daring? A bit more revealing? A bit more risky? My body, perhaps. A glimpse of face, perhaps. Not to worry, I know just how to pull that off.

Sinful Santa Revealed

Ah, a Father Christmas hat that hides a multitude of sins and a trippy background that does the same. No-one needs to see my Psyduck. No, that’s not a euphemism.

Anyway, I’m pretty pleased with how these turned out, given the outfit was for Crush’s sake and not yours. I didn’t intend to pose, but then the natural lighting was so good (isn’t it?) and I felt so sexy that I thought I’d get my lad to take a couple of quick ones before we got further dressed to go and open presents.

So, what do you think, festive enough for you? If you’d sat on this Santa’s lap this Christmas Day, what would you have asked her for? ♦

Micro-Fiction #1 – The Resistance

♦ Whilst I don’t have all the time in the world, sadly, to write normal fiction at the moment, I think I can still find time here and there to write a little micro-fiction themed around sex, love and all the other things this blog is for. I’m hoping to capture something strong in just a few words, ideally a dozen or fewer.

I’d love to know what impression this gives you. What’s the story here?

“I don’t trust you,” she said.

“But I love you.”

Towel Day

♦ This weekend we went to the swimming pool. I love swimming. I’m a fairly heavy girl, so the feeling of weightlessness and grace is wonderful. I used to be a pretty decent swimmer, and I’m not bad now, just a little out of practice. But I intend to go more often. And I intend to bring Crush along too. He can’t swim. Not yet. But he’s learning. And I think sights like this at the pool are only going to encourage him. Or so I hope!

Hey, you sass that hoopy Blacksilk? There’s a frood who really knows where her towel is. ♦

Review – Tantus Cush O2 Dildo

Tantus Cush O2

Disclaimer: I was provided with a free Tantus Cush O2 by Tantus in exchange for my honest review. Click pictures to embiggen.

♦ The Cush O2 by Tantus is a large dildo made from Tantus’ O2 silicone, meaning it features dual densities of silicone. The supersoft white silicone forms a squishy layer over the firm density blue (in my case, as I have the Ice colour option, rather than purple Twilight or pink candy), providing varying sensations, especially around this toy’s prominent second ridge.

Tantus Cush PackagingThe packaging is the standard Tantus fare: lovely and eye-catching to look at, simple, non-tacky yet also not overly discreet (what with being see-through). It sadly doesn’t always hold up well to being used for storage and may split. I tend to keep my Tantus dildos in storage bags as they pick up dust and lint very easily. Don’t worry about storing them together, they’re super-safe.

As I say, you can get your Tantus Cush O2 in one of three colours, but I absolutely love my Ice one. It’s a gorgeous, ethereal blue and white combination that looks a little like liquid nitrogen over a deep pond. The effect is thanks to the aforementioned O2 dual-layer silicone: where the top layer is thinner, such as just below the toy’s second ridge, the blue comes through more. It really does look icy.

Tantus Cush SizeIt also has an interesting look in terms of shape: somewhere between realism (with the head of the dildo) and non-representational (the simple shape and added ridge). Size-wise, the Tantus Cush O2 is very long and girthy, certainly one for the Size Lovers.

The Tantus Cush O2 is just under 8″ long with just over 7″ insertable, 1.8″ diameter on the shaft and around 1.9″ on the widest part of the (admittedly squishy) head.

I certainly needed a warm up on every occasion (and yet I didn’t always with the Tantus Max O2, which is actually bigger. Is it the Cush or am I losing my touch? I’ve decided it’s probably neither but very well might be the effects of stress on my body). I also needed a healthy dollop of lubricant. On the first few times I tried it, it felt uncomfortable even with other toys beforehand, but I think that’s down to me not quite getting myself in the mood as much as I should have. Recently I’ve given it a go and, in a better mood and having got used to the toy, it’s felt wonderfully comfortable very quickly and stayed that way even after I’m done. No soreness, no “I’ve pushed myself a bit far”.

Coupled with its size, it’s also a very firm dildo in terms of flexibility, with very little give. It stands up dead straight on its base with no support. You can bend it, but it takes two hands and a fair bit of effort.

What helps with the size and relatively unbending nature of the Tantus Cush is that it’s O2 silicone: it’s got a hard core but a gloriously squishy outer layer. OK, so the matte texture gives it a fair bit of drag, but the squishiness more than compensates for any problems that might cause. In the case of the Cush, the dildo gets squishier the nearer the bulbous tip it gets. In fact, I’d say at least the top inch is all squish (which serves to make insertion easier than it otherwise would be) and is therefore much gentler than its rather pointy shape would suggest.

Tantus Cush Tip

The only places where you may find the shape a little troublesome are the ridges. Or in all likeliness, like me, you might find them incredibly stimulating instead! The Tantus Cush O2 has two ridges, one where you might expect at the base of the head (the corona) and one pronounced one that starts about three inches from the base of the shaft on the top. Neither of these ridges affect the bottom side of the shaft, which is very smooth.

Tantus Cush RidgeThese two ridges really stimulate the front vaginal wall and can even pleasure the G-spot (not everything has to be curved to hit it!). They do for mine. Since both the ridges are made from the supersoft material, they’re much more forgiving than they look and make you feel wonderful rather than catching horribly.

In fact, the Tantus Cush O2 is so good at stimulating me, I found I only really needed very small movements to feel absolutely amazing. It was very easy to come. and you don’t need to pound away, which is probably good considering the size.

CONCLUSION

The Tantus Cush O2 is a fantastic toy from a fantastic company that makes fantastic products. There is really only about one thing I could think of that could make it unsuitable for someone and that is the size. It’s big. It’s not for everyone. If you can’t see yourself coping with a girthy toy like this, try something else Tantus makes. The Tantus Flurry O2, for example, is the same length, material and colour range and features two ridges, but is only 1.5″ in diameter.

If you can see yourself working up to this girth, or you’re already a full-on Size Lover, then I think you’ll love this toy. It’s got all the usual Tantus qualities of being absolutely body-safe, sterilisable, non-porous and made of 100% high-quality platinum O2 silicone. It’s anal-safe, if you’re bold, and harness-compatible thanks to its flared base. It’s big and firm, but with a lovely layer of squish on top. And, most of all, it has those two fantastic ridges, particularly the second one, which rub the front walls of your vagina and stimulate your G-spot (or at least mine) with the slightest effort.

What’s more, it’s beautiful, too. So I’d suggest you rush out (well, online) right now and buy the Cush O2 from the lovely guys at Tantus. You deserve it. ♦

Intent – a poem about mindsets

Intent is everything
The simple balance between anger and arousal
A slap
The one in the heat of rage, the other the heat of passion
Intent, the decider between reassuring and raunchy
When it comes to a squeeze of the thigh
A moan
Pleasure? Pain? Intent decides
A finger passes over pussy lips
The action has occurred a hundred times
It’s the intent that makes the shiver
Mind over matter, my dear
And matter it does
I flicked the switch
I changed my intent
And, intending now to receive pleasure, pleasure came to me
The light brush became a solvent trail on fire
Nerves sang
Mind raced
From the mundane to the glorious
All with intent

I wrote this short erotic poem in one of the few gaps in my currently very hectic life! It’s about how the mental and the physical interact and how making up your mind one way or another is often the only thing between something meh and something amazing. It’s based on a real experience from recently. With handcuffs. And a blindfold. And it was wonderful.

I hope you enjoy the poem! Let me know what you think? How important is the mental mindset over how good the physical act feels?

Fleisch – Erotic Body Horror

♦ I’m still here. I’m not going away, don’t worry. Hopefully, this post is a return to more regular posting and normal service. I’ve been busy, then stressed and anxious, then busy again. Geek life and geek me have gotten in the way of blog writing and blog me. It’s a phenomenally busy time of year. But I’m not disappearing. And now for a normal post…

I’ve said before that I think it can be a little too easy sometimes to arouse by a photo. I’ve tried to mix horror and eroticism together before too. It’s easy to be intimate when you’re showing intimate parts of yourself. It’s easy to arouse when all you’re doing is trying to arouse.

This week for Sinful Sunday, I am, of course, trying to arouse you, but I’m not just trying to arouse you…

Fleisch - erotic body horror

As usual, click the image for a bigger version, if you’d like. In any case, this is what I consider erotic body horror. Hopefully, it’s eerie, creepy and yet still a little sexual and tantalising. Erotic, but not necessarily in a comfortable way. In fact, it should be a bit uncomfortable.

It draws on fetish elements (like the chains and the veiny posture collar and chastity-like device), elements of medical/sickness fetish (the leg brace, the inability to walk) and forniphilia (human furniture) as well as just straight-up weirdness like the flesh coloured eyes, the lack of nipples and the strange formation of her body.

I won’t go as far as to say I hope you like it, but I hope it affects you, at least. I’d love to know your thoughts on it and how it makes you feel. Are you aroused? Are you scared? Does it leave you cold? Is there room for body horror and eroticism to share a space and intermingle? ♦
