♦ It’s Sinful Sunday again and I thought it fitting to put up a picture I drew some time back on the theme of “sin”. I haven’t much time to take naughty pictures this Sunday, what with packing to move house and everything, so this will have to do. You can see more of my original drawings on my photos and art page. It seems quite influenced by old-school tattoo style, which sounds like me! Even though this picture was drawn a little while back, I still rather like it, actually. Sexy, sinful and not too awfully drawn! I’d love to know what you think. ♦

I really like this! Especially the two-toned hair and the flame like design around the body. It does have a very old school tattoo style.
Heh, the flame effect was a complete afterthought and isn’t in the physical picture. I just cut it out and scanned it in and then realise the white edge around the drawing looked silly on the black background, so I blended it in later in GIMP. :P
Glad you liked it! I think I was going for a sort of semi Bride of Frankenstein thing (another old-school influence!) with the hair and the blank eyes and super-pointy nails. :)

I am in awe… I am a terrible drawer so when someone can do this I am always hugely impressed. My issue with drawings of woman is that often people seem to get the proportion of the boobs and placement of them slightly wrong somehow…. you however seem to have got it spot on.

Thank you so much! Getting the body to look right is always the hardest part of drawing, quite often something can seem off and you’ve know idea why or how to fix it! So I’m glad I seem to have done OK this time. :)
Though I think I draw well when I take my time and put forth some effort, I rarely do. And even if I did I doubt I could ever produce results like this. Very well done: Stylized, evocative, and very sexy!

I’m always a fan of your illustrations – you draw mightily sexy ladies. Question – Do you ever draw men, or is it always women? The eerie lack of pupils is quite striking.

Thank you very much! I do draw men as well as women, but less often. I’m not sure why, it’s probably related to the fact I seem to find women more physically attractive.
Most of the men I’ve drawn have been more fantasy than sexy.
This is a superb drawing and would make a wonderful tattoo due to the simple lines of the illustration. A good tattooist would do wonders with this image…….
